Another vintage faux fur

I found this vintage faux fur jacket in October at my local boot sale just as I was leaving. What drew me to it was the knitted arms it had-quite different from whats on offer and as it fitted like a glove, I thought I'd have it for just £10.

I've already worn it a few times, so cost per wear is going down and down, lol!!

For all the faux fur I have in my wardrobe, every piece is just at thigh length, so I'm now on the hunt for a maxi length winter coat-maybe, faux fur or maybe wool/cashmere camel, it depends on what I see on my travels. But I'm setting my sights on a good quality piece that I can keep, so if I don't find one this winter, I'll invest next year for winter 2011.

What item are you coveting still for winter?

oh I'm loving the 'cost per wear' theory! ;O) I need to get some faux furs, I just can't quite find the right little number so the hunt goes on x

p.s thank you for your comment on my blog. I hopefully will be swapping the lemsips for mulled wine very soon!

The sleeves are a nice touch! It's like the opposite of my wool coat with furry sleeves. Which, come to think of it, is black. We could be polar opposites! Reverse twins!

Dear Sharon, I love it, the knitted sleeves really make it. I'll keep my eyes open for a full length coat for you. I've seen a few recently that I think you'dl like. I find the best time to get a bargain coat is in the summer. Have a great week xx

Well you look so nice Love the coat very cute!! I finally got my hands on a really nice warm sweater and I got a pea coat this weekend as well. We don't get very cold here in Southern California but cool enough that you need a coat and a few sweaters. Good luck on your Coat Hunting ~Love Heather
