Dressing For Christmas

Although I have lots in my wardrobe, I still felt like treating myself to a) something for Christmas and b) something in the sale.

On my travels this week, I managed to get this lovely unstructured velvet blazer, reduced from £49.99 to £20.00 from River Island-its also available online in black, beige, pink and red too:

Depending on my mood, I'll either wear it with my newly acquired vintage 80s Radley cocktail dress in black and gold, which I got this week at the RSPCA charity shop for £7, or some black leggings and a top.

What are you wearing for Christmas?

I have an old second-hand black velvet jacket that I bought about 20 years ago for a fiver, and I get it out every Christmas! Have a wonderful Christmas, MyStyle - and a thrifty new year.

Best wishes,
TNMA

I'll be sitting around my house in sweaty gym clothes, I'm sure, until I put on the usual jeans-t-shirt-heels-jacket to go to a movie.

I'm very psyched I found a gym in the neighborhood that's open on Xmas ;-)

Cute jacket, love the unique button design. I think these holidays call for either a sequin miniskirt or dress :) Its the season to shine!!

Dear Sharon, it's a lovely jacket, and a great price. Can't wait to see the Radley dress!

I haven't decided what to wear yet but it will be a dress with something sparkly. I may wear a black long sleeved Prada cocktail dress with a beaded vest over it and heels of course. I will change as soon as I can into a cashmere tracksuit and my new cashmere slippers.

I bought some very soft velvet kaftans from Ridley Road market, they come in jewel colours and were only £15. I have a dark red one on now and it's so comfortable. I couldn't believe the price! I think they come from Thailand.

Have an amazing Christmas and see you very soon, Love Christina xx

I'm really feeling the velvet vibe for Christmas. I have a teal velvet blazer that I think I'll be wearing with a lovely watercolour print shift dress from M&S.

Merry Christmas Sharon! xx

Beautiful jacket -- very very versatile too! Great find. ^_^

For Christmas I'm wearing my very first maternity clothes, lol! But the jeans are super comfortable and the top has some jewel accents at the bustline, for a more festive look!
