Thrift Inspiration, Vogue Style-The Skinny Belt

I was lucky to find this Mulberry tan skinny belt a few weeks ago in the Haven Hospice charity shop:

Skinny belts are still very much in trend and the most popular way of wearing them this season is over a winter coat, as you can see here by Chloe for their Winter collection:

Check out this article by Vogue on their take on wearing skinny belts, very inspirational for how the Designers are working this look this season.

I will definitely be wearing this belt with my cashmere camel coat and also my brown shearling jacket. Will you be wearing a skinny belt with your next outfit?

Ohhhh! It's fabulous. I bet it'll look gorgeous on that beautiful vintage faux fur coat of yours.
I don't think I own a skinny belt, I shall have to search one out in the New Year. xxx

Hi there, what a great find! I own 3 skinny belts from Aigner in blue, tan and red! Love them with dresses and cardis! Great to give some shape to an oversized item! Kind regards :)

Lucky thing! That's a bargain and a half! It's right up-to-date but it classic enough to last for years. I'm stocking up on browns and tan leatherwear now, I think the softer neutral tones are warming in winter.

Excellent find - that's a lovely belt - and well done on your debt-busting. Happy New Year!

I do love belts but generally stick to wide ones. I need to look out for some skinnier ones too. I have never bought a new one, all mine are vintage - a mulberry one is an awesome find!
(p.s. thanks for your sweet comment!)

What a great belt. I really love the look of a skinny belt over a coat, so much better than the wide waist belts. xx Happy New Year. xx

Wonderful, wonderful find! What a classic, beautiful belt! :o)

I'm a skinny belt *fiend*! I adore them and have been buying them when I can find them at a good price. I now have a decent collection. They're so chic and perfect. It's weird, I love either wide belts or super-skinny ones! So glad they've made a comeback.
