Thrift Inspiration, Jonathan Saunders Style

Jonathan Saunders collection for Summer 2011 features a lot of pieces using block colouring and mixing colours ranging from neutrals to brights to pastels:

So on my charity shop run last week, I was really pleased to pick up this Jonathan Saunders for Topshop dress priced up at £4.99 at the Red Cross charity shop. So when I got to the till, the manageress said I could have it for £3.99, what a bargain!!

I've worn it already and I love how it will be a year round wardrobe staple.

Whats been your best designer bargain lately?

I bet you'll look gorgeous in that frock, very 1980's inspired!
Best designer bargain recently? Hmmm, might be the Jean Varon dress I paid £4.99 for last week. xxx

Dear Sharon, I love it! I bet it looks gorgeous on you! What a great bargain.

My best recent bargain I think is an Antik Batik sequined hoody which I paid £20 for. They were £150 online. It looks good with everything. I shall photograph it when I get to the sequin section of my wardrobe. I still haven't finish sorting it out. So many things were crumpled and stuffed in cupboards I've had to wash tons of stuff. My house looks like a Chinese laundry at the moment! xx

Cute, I love anything with colorblocking to it. The only thing I got that was somewhat of a bargain was these fab Rachel Roy boots but they were over $100, wish I could have gotten them for half that price!

How lucky are you?! I was quite disappointed that I never picked up a J Saunders for Topshop pieces.

You guys, seriously need to let me onto the secret of charity shopping- the farthest I go is ugly overzised t-shirts, and primark's own brand. that's the designer I always come across, not much else! :P
