Annual PimmsFest Blogger Meet at Balthazars, London

Hi everyone! You may already be aware from previous tweets, twitter and instagram photos that I was part of  an Annual Blogger Meet held at Balthazars in London this previous weekend.

It was lovely to see the gorgeous Wendy Brandes and MrB who are always in attendance mid year during their European vacation; the lovely Kate at Twisted Skirt (and Make Do Style) who is also up date with her yearly attendance, as is the delightful Liz of Vintage-A-Peel and newbie to the PimmsFest was the wonderful  Alyson of ThatsNotMyAge who decided to change the rules with MrB and go for lager instead!!

It was lovely not only to enjoy the Pimms and lager, the wonderful company but to indulge in the gorgeous Afternoon Tea that Balthazars offer. There was a lovely variety of fresh finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and some wonderful cakes which were all devoured with enthusiasm and lots of pleasure!! Thank You MrB!! Of course it was a wonderful chance to catch up on with everyone and have a laugh and a good old natter in the progress. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were actually asked to vacate our seats for the evening sittings-not because we were too rowdy-and just as well as Wendy and MrB may well have missed the start of their theatre performance booked!!

So here are the photos of our always eventful and lovely Annual PimmsFest Blogger Meet- only 350 odd days till the next one!!

My annual meet always involves the wearing of Wendy's stunning rings- the Diana heart ring is my own which I bought from her a few years back and the Gravity Heart ring can be found here on her exquisite website

A fabulous time was had by all and I can't believe this has been my FIFTH annual meet out of SIX- just goes to show how blogging really does bring friends together from all around the world and different parts of the country too!

I'm a # good blogger, thanks to Wendy Brandes

Hi everyone!! Well technically I haven't been a brilliant blogger or tweeter of late-my sincere apologies to those of you who have visited and kindly left comments. I will be trying very hard to visit you all in the coming week-as usual, life does tend to get in the way!!!

Anyhow, unofficially I am a # good blogger and my latest purchase proves it- I received my most gorgeous recent addition to my collection from the wonderful Wendy Brandes-no wonder I'm soo happy!!

I had wanted the # ring for ages and finally decided to order it from Wendy- I nearly went for an 'S' ring, but my love of the hashtag won through in the end!! I received it on Friday and have been wearing it ever since, here is its debut-

I adore it-it is an adjustable ring so I can wear it on either hand and I love the uniqueness and gorgeousness of it!! A big thank you to the lovely Wendy-check out our London blogger meet and how I kept to my annual tradition of trying on her rings and keeping one on for the whole duration of the meet! Note to Wendy-my newest addition will not stop this annual habit!!

If you've been bitten by the # bug, or feeling the LOL, OMG or YOLO vibe then check out the stunning WendyB by Wendy Brandes range NOW-YES NOW- I don't normally dish out orders, but I'll make an exception so you can drool over her fabulous range!

So here in the UK, the weather is dire-yet again. so the ring arrival really brought some sunshine to my weekend. In this outfit post, I am rather tribal-my tee is from Primark and was only £4-it has a textured self leopardprint which lifts it from a normal white tee. My TU skinny ankle grazer jeans in a beige animal spot print cost £1-thanks to a half price sale and using ten pounds worth of Nectar points. My thrifted Topshop leopardprint belt finishes this animal print outfit off:

So heres hoping to some sunny weather this week-before we know it Autumn will be here and summer will be a distant memory ;-(

Wishing you all a lovely week ahead and for any of you going on holiday, bring some sun back please!

Blogger Meet, aka A.B.C, aka Pimms Time!!

On Saturday it was so lovely to meet up with gorgeous blogger friends Kate of Make Do Style, Ms Peelpants of Vintage-A-Peel, Ms Penny Dreadful Vintage and Wendy of Wendy Brandes Fine Jewelry
It was actually the 4th A.B.C-Annual Blogger Convention, as I like to call it-I've managed to attend 3 out of 4-see Wendys fabulous post on past meet ups here

We had a wonderful lunch at Giraffe restaurant first and then we stopped off at a local public house for our Pimms Fest, where the lovely Mr B was official photographer and so kindly kept all the ladies glasses topped up at all times.

A few hours later we ended up at the Hamilton Hall in Liverpool Street for a Bon Voyage drink.Heres to the 5th one this time next year-a good time was had by all and it was so nice to see Wendy again, especially as she was not well on the Friday evening.

I also had the Vintage Fashion Fair in Primrose Hill yesterday and it was so nice to meet the lovely Ceri of Style Eyes Fashion Blog. It was a really good day, very busy and enjoyable to meet new customers and stallholders.

I am sorry as I really am so behind on catching up with you all, but will endeavour to visit your blogs during this week. Wishing you all a very good week ahead, whether its hectic, relaxing, vacational or working!!!

Stunning Liz of Get some Vintage-A-Peel with Wendy

Being a personal stylist meant Kate was still on duty to tie Wendys Christian Francis Roth dress to perfection!!

Of course, I managed to get a picture of 'afters' before it was swiftly eaten by us all-simply divine and delicious, with compliments to the wonderful WendyB- A big thanks for such a gorgeous lunch my dear, washed down with plenty of Pimms of course!!

Also a big thanks to Kate for my lovely LBD and sequin shrug, which have a place in my wardrobe and which I can't wait to wear!!

We took great pleasure in a trying on session of Wendys exquisite and stunning rings, which unfortunately did not get stuck on our fingers permanently, mores the pity!!!

So same time, same place, next year ladies-I'll try not to bring any lurgies with me next time and it was such a pleasure to meet up with you gorgeous ladies at long last!!

Having it All-The Perfect Day Ends with The Perfect Evening

Its very rare to have the 'Perfect' day, but thats what I did have yesterday, when I met up with my gorgeous blogger friends Wendy Brandes and Times of Glory, then onto the 'Perfect' evening with Wendys gorgeous husband Paul, taking us lucky ladies out for dinner!!
The day started with myself and Wendy meeting outside her London hotel-we then decided to get a cab to check out the designer sale 'Mrs Sting' was having-a recommendation from Red Carpet Fashion Awards that eagle eye Wendy had spotted before meeting me!!
To say there were designer bargains is an understatement-you name a designer, their clothes were there, at totally rock bottom prices, with all proceeds going to UNICEF-what could be better!!

Myself and Wendy with our haul of designer goodies!!
I bagged a Chanel jacket for £100(!!!), a Roberto Cavalli top, a Pucci top, a Jean Paul Gaultier top, a Versace day dress and a Burberry blazer-all for a total of less than £200!!!
Well Wendy and I were shopped out, so we staggered a few steps onwards to a lovely little pub, for a liquid lunch and flowing conversation! Times of Glory rang about 3.30, to check our whereabouts and of course wanted to check out the designer sale too!!

Our 2nd visit and Wendy looks stunning in this McQueen jacket, which she didn't purchase, as she had already bagged a totally gorgeous white crochet Dolce and Gabbana summer coat, a Zac Posen exquisite evening gown, a Versace black top and a totally gorgeous buttersoft leather Christian Dior jacket!!!

Well, onwards to Harvey Nichols, where Wendy bagged another superb bargain-some L'Wren Scott black sequin trousers that are totally and utterly divine!!! Another pitstop required, so we retired to the 5th floor at Harvey Nicks for a pitcher of Pimms-oh, how decadent of us!!!
Time was marching on, so a cab took us back to Wendy's hotel, where her wonderful husband Paul was ready to take us for dinner-but not before I captured some shots of Wendy in her stunning new Ossie purchase!!!
Wendy looking divine in her newest Ossie Clark purchase!!
Wendy and Paul-Wendy looks fabulous in this Zac Posen gown-what a stunning find!!
Dinner was exquisite-I had smoked salmon for starters, veal for main course and coffee brulee and espresso ice cream for dessert-oh what luxury and decadence to end the evening!!!
A big, big thank you to Wendy and Paul for such a special evening and I've met a special friend in Wendy-our pub chat was a lovely way of getting to know each other more and also our mutual love of Ossie Clark ensured we had plenty to talk about! Times of Glory is another wonderful, sweet girl-another good friend and it was a pleasure to meet her-we all had a fantastic day-one I won't forget in a hurry!!
