Thrift Inspiration, Snakeskin style!!!

The big trend for Autumn and Winter is snakeskin-Gucci, Versace and Prada featured it at Milan Fashion Week for 2011-2012 and its not only the traditional brown colour featured, its actually gone multi coloured for this coming season:

Multi colour snakeskin, read about it here at Look magazine

Grazia also featured it recently, showcasing High Street retailers who have taken the trend on board:

If a dress, skirt or blouse isn't your thing, then how about investing in a bag, belt or a pair of shoes in multi colour snakeskin?

I thrifted this lovely little snakeskin clutch bag at the boot sale a couple of months ago for my vintage fashion fair, but considering its bang on trend and something uniquely different, I 've decided to put it in my wardrobe instead!!

I love the mix of multi colours and it will go with a lot in my wardrobe and certainly will dress up a winter jacket or coat.

Will you be getting into the multi colour snakeskin trend this coming season?

I love the snakeskin trend. I would really like some knee high boots but whether I manage to find them is another matter.

That clutch is a beauty! One of my friends got me a pair of 20p snake print shoes from a jumble the other day and I've got my beloved python Tods' boots, too, so I'm going to be "on trend" just for once! x

Loving the clutch bag. I honestly don't think I own anything with snake skin patterning.

I'm thinking shoes. And thrifted, natch... I just have to keep my beady eye out for a pair in my size.

I love the shape of that clutch, simple but with a hint of mystery and oriental influence.

Great find, I'm terrified of snakes but for some reason I have a Reiss faux snakeskin belt from 7 years ago so I'll give it an airing but that is as far as I'll go!! xx

The snakeskin clutch is gorgeous; I completely understand why you keep it for yourself.
I do like the trend but not on clothing just in accessories and shoes!

I *adore* a snakeskin print! It's my all-time favorite animal print ever ... probably because I like snakes, lol! My mother thinks I'm mental, but I'm fascinated by snakes. And I think the prints on their skins are so mysterious and beautiful.

I LOVE your snakeskin bag! What an amazing find! I'm really glad this print is big for Fall. I'm hoping to find a great pair of snakeskin shoes and maybe a dress too.

I just bought my first snakeskin accessory, a beautiful bag with different shades of gray, taupe and pale brown, with dark gray fringe. I'm nuts about it! :o)

love that clutch bag. I always think clutches are the ultimate classy evening bag. Not so good for night involving lots of drink though - far to easy to loose. Look forward to seeing what you wear this with. x
