This weeks edition of Grazia continues to highlight this coming season's trends and for a change its not all about the 'It' bag, more of a return from the fashion wildnerness, the rucksack.
Its the type of bag we all most probably have stashed away in the back of the wardrobe and in my case it most definitely was! The rucksack certainly is a classic style which comes in an array of different colours, patterns and materials:
I was suitably inspired to dig out my mint green Kipling rucksack-adorned with little Tim, the Kipling's trademark gorilla who is in this seasons colour of spearmint green, bless him, hehe!!
I thrifted this bag about three summers ago at my local boot sale for only £3- I remember it being an early Spring find and I use it quite sparingly to keep it in good condition. I will definitely be wearing it out a few times this summer- it is a welcome style staple that is both in trend colour and fashion wise, as well as being practical and cute!!
What item have you rescued from the back of the wardrobe and brought out of the fashion wilderness for this summer?

how lovely! really a nice wardrobe-find! P.S.: I'm still blogging on hippiebohoreloaded, would be happy to keep you as a reader :)
What a lovely find! I do love a canvas rucksack but sadly all of mine have disintegrated from the way they're overstuffed on our travels. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a replacement as pretty as yours. x
I also love a canvas rucksack and the return of the rucksack is welcomed return, about time xx
I love the return of the backpack - such a back and shoulder friendly carrying option. I got myself a lovely leather one a few years ago and it's still going strong. Also always loved the cute Kipling ones... Well kept, Sharon. xoxo
Now I am seriously kicking myself. I had that exact bag in pastel pink, and I'm pretty sure I got rid of it only about 6 months back! Grrrr! Xx
I just bought a new turquoise rucksack from Eastpak, it's really cute and small! Not as pretty and stylish as these but I'm pleased that I wont be the only one with one!
Love your bag, what a great colour!
I saw rucksacks in Vogue the otherday. I love them especially when out and about with the childrem. Another great find, will be keeping my eyes peeled in the charity shops.
I am on the hunt for a lovely backpack! What a bargain xx

Have got a small leather bag in this style which my husband brought me from the Middle East some years back. It is pink leather with green leather straps. I like to use it when I go for walks, but am not very comfortable wearing it when I'm in a crowd - I always worry somebody will pick something out of my bag which is not in my line of vision, since it is on my back. Am I obsessed?
I'm still traumatized by the trend for miniature backpacks...I think that was in the early '90s?
Fab ideas!
Are you all right? Haven't seen you blogging for ages!
Hi Marika!! Thanks so much for your message, I am fine thank you, I've just started a new job, so am browsing other blogs and not doing any posts for the moment! Hopefully I will do soon, have a nice weekend x

Well thank God the rucksack has returned, maybe I can trade my ugly Black Wolf one in for something more fashionable to carry my dance gear around in!
