Essential basic neutral tones that co-ordinate whatever the season!
Happy New Year and I do hope you are all managing as best as you can, whether you're working from home, on part or full time furlough or home schooling!
As I start 2021 I am mostly at home for lockdown so I decided what better way to lounge than to style up some loungewear pieces from Femme Luxe who have an awesome stay at home selection of relaxing homewear!
As well as my new items I do have some great pieces from Autumn that I'm still enjoying wearing and I decided to incorporate one of my favourites- the sweater from the Maria loungewear set with the joggers from the black Averi loungewear set!
Black joggers are definitely a must have basic for your lockdown wardrobe and these ones are just so relaxing to wear- they have lovely deep pockets for hiding away the all essential face mask and tissues too!
Choosing neutral colours means that separates such as their joggers can easily be co-ordinated with other loungewear pieces- precisely why I decided to style the beige mink Lizzie joggers with the black sweatshirt from the Averi set!
These joggers are true to size and again just so cosy and go so well with many neutrals for winter- particularly longer coats or cropped puffer jackets! I opted for this particular style as they have a hidden drawstring - this is a great style bonus and I love how effective it looks with no strings hanging down!
When I saw the the Amina PU leather high waisted joggers I knew I could include these on my list of 'must haves' for lockdown. They do not disappoint- not only do they look smart casual they can also be styled in numerous ways to dress up or dress down other items in my wardrobe when we are finally less restricted and are able to go out and about again!
They're really so comfortable and true to size and I like how they fall to just above the ankle on me so I can wear them with hi-tops or ankle boots or even a kitten heel sandal or shoe in Spring! These are a style of trouser that I've wanted for winter and beyond- such a perfect choice for lounging or park strolls right now.

I loved the Averi set so much I had to get it in grey too! Each piece can easily be worn with so many other things already in my wardrobe- the sweatshirt will be perfect with jeans or leggings and is great under my winter jackets and coats! I'll definitely be wearing the joggers with different colour hoodies and sweatshirts too that are already in lockdown rotation! I really recommend a grey loungewear set as it's such a versatile 2 piece to wear, not just for Winter but it's ideal for travelling in and I'll be wearing mine lots in lockdown and beyond!
I love different colour neutrals such as black, grey and beige- it makes loungewear so easy to mix and match and you don't feel you're wearing the same things day in and day out. Plus if being at home is your only option then being cosy, comfortable and stylish ensures loungewear pieces should definitely be on your radar as first choice wear for Lockdown.
If you want to go for an oversize look then order this set to your normal size, rather than sizing up. It's truly comfortable and has a fleecy inside finish to keep you warm in those colder snaps without having to turn up the central heating! On a mild day you can definitely get away with just wearing a gilet over the top of this set if you're doing a quick trip to the shops for those essential groceries!
