Leather snakeskin wine colour clutch with gold chain strap, from the Salvation Army in Romford, £1

As it is the Easter school holidays, I have been charity shopping in different towns quite frequently this week. I hadn't bought anything for myself, except for today, when I found this gorgeous leather wine colour snakeskin clutch, which can be hand held or used over the shoulder with its gold chain strap. I had to get it for £1-the front of it has two initials CD-but, on looking inside is not unfortunately a Christian Dior vintage. It's still stunning, though

Camera Shy-Moi?

As it was such a beautiful morning, I banished my jeans and wore my Celia Birtwell 'ditsy daisy' dress, as seen on Keira Knightley. I am trying to be less camera shy and show my clothes 'en personne', as opposed to 'en clothes hanger'

I also love Chanel no 5, Chanel Chance and Chanel Allure, but I think I may well give the new ones a go. I am looking for day time perfumes, something fresh and fairly light.

Tally ho! For a day at the races!

A couple of summers ago, we went to Lingfield Race course for a day at the races. It was a cracking day out and fantastic to have a bet and wander around admiring other peoples outfits.

I am hankering to go again soon and I think this Marc Jacobs silk tea dress purchased for £5 from Help the Aged last summer would be just the ticket, with my Anya Hindmarch silk ivory clutch!

Favourite florals for summer

My most favourite vintage dress is this 1970s maxi dress by Michael Sinclair. It was only £2 from National Childrens Home and is totally rocking this summers trend for floral maxi's. I love it because the material is quality, it is so Ossie-with mystic daisy style sprigs and tulips budding in different tiers.
