Animal Colour Prints

According to the Guardian, coloured animal prints are 'bang on trend'. They feature from Designers through to the High Street

ASOS, £10

Christopher Kane at Net-A-Porter, £695

Warehouse, £40

I've tapped into this trend by investing in some pashmina/scarfs, which were only £2 each at my local ethnic High Street shop.

They are the perfect companion to a denim or leather jacket, plus a good enough reason to put away the winter scarves too!

I think it's the blue Lanvin print that's really propelled this trend -- and remember how many people criticized Maggie Gyllenhaal for wearing that dress? Humph.

i'm not such a fan of animal print, but applying it sparingly like with a scarf is a great idea! especially love that red one!

Ehhh
I've never really dug the whole animal print trend.

I think i'm going to sit this one out for another year.

Hi there-thanks for the lovely comments everyone!

This trend is also hot in bathroom towels..according to my Mom. She's going to a bathroom shower tomorrow and bringing leopard print towels to her friend's new remodel of her bathroom. I love the red and blue sweaters. I'll have to look for a scarf.

Thanks for the note. Well, I might have possibly turned the tables, but I don't think she'll be doing anything quite like my friend's ex who decided to show up where he worked with her new boyfriend for a confrontation.

I love animal print, but a whole top in the print is a bit much for me! Scarves are a great way to tap into the trend

Oooh, Imma sucker for leopard print, but only in odd shades. I have a cardigan (very similar to the Warehouse one) that I come back to every year.

As a wise person said (don't ask me which wise person!), "Always own a leopard-print item". It was something along those lines ;)
