Tribal trend and Ikat prints

The Tribal trend and particularly Ikat prints are very much in trend this summer-its a fabulous style print that works so well on blouses, skirts and dresses

I scored a gorgeous French Connection Ikat print tunic blouse recently, a great way of getting into the trend and a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down.

I've paired the top with my denim jeggings, my Moroccan belt for a more Tribal feel and my tan Gladiatior style shoes by Clarks

Will you be channeling Ikat prints and Tribal this summer?

I love love love this whole trend! And I just adoooore your FC top! That seriously rocks. I hope this look stays around longer, this time. I remember it was sort of hip sometime in the '90s, but the clothes were awful (baggy, shapeless, weird square caps ... remember those?), at least to me. This time around the prints seem to be on simple, ladylike, classic clothes which makes them really shine.

Yet another marvelous find! Well done, lady. I've got an Ikat-like scarf, but probably won't take it any further than that myself.

I love the 1st picture and I love you in that Tunic - I bought into this trend when it first reared its head last summer with a black and cream dress from Topshop. A few weeks later I saw someone else in a dress of the same print and when I enquired "Topshop?" she responded with "No Peacocks" so that put me off my dress and I hadn't considered it for this year but your post reminds me that I do really like it.
