When I went shopping with my mum last month, she very kindly bought me my Christmas present of a new coat. Its from Next and you can see it here
It really was a good bargain-£65 and yes, I know for me that I don't generally spend this sort of money, I think for a High Street coat which is a wool blend was really good value for money.
Its a great fit, belted and has an oversized collar which along with the houndstooth check design drew me to it.
Next really does have some great pieces, do check them out online or in store.

Next can be hit or miss but that coat is a big HIT.

Great Coat. I tend to overlook Next a lot of the time but they do have some great pieces.
I AM fascinated by that unique/great collar! What is under the right (as I face the picture) collar? Almost looks like a pocket....Interesting details. You will be able to carry that large pattern well on your slim figure - I couldn't!

I keep forgetting Next exists and then I see stuff on people's blogs and thing "oh no, why didn't I visit them in the UK??". Anyhow, this is another one of those moments ;-) Love the look of this... the houndstooth is all the rage, but I do believe it's always quite timeless. My husband is a huge Next fan, so I have to remind him to take me there... I have heard they're one of the few British high-street brands that don't have dubious labor practices and actually still care about quality.

I love it! Sooo '60s chic! You really do have the best coats in high street shops in Britain. You just can't get that same quality from similar shops here in America (at least not where I live). The colors are gorgeous too!
