A big hello to everyone!! The summer seems to be going by so quickly-unfortunately the weather during August has been so temperamental here, I'm thinking have we seen the last of the wonderfully sunny days?
I hope you are all enjoying August and making the most of summer, whatever you are up to. My mum and I went on the Orient Express on Saturday which was a memorable and fantastic experience, I hope to blog about it soon.
I've nothing really planned now until I go back to work, so I hope to catch up with you all and read your latest posts!
I'm wearing my trusty summer staple of a Topshop denim gilet with a Roberto Cavalli top and Marni skirt.
I've tried to wear a few summer dresses this season, but I still tend to gravitate back to jeans and tees-what has been your favourite summer style staple this year?

Very pretty skirt. This Summer I've been living in wide legged patterned floaty trousers, they've been my go to item and I wish I'd found another pair.

Love your casual look in this outfit. Fed up with our usual rubbish British Summer and can't believe my Little Man goes back to school next Thursday, then we will know its really over!

I have sadly been in plaid shirts of various styles, people must think I've a cowboy fetish. Girly with a skirt, boyish with flares...it's just because it never seems warm enough for sleeveless BUT I can't bear to wear a jumper all day in August.
Oh, and coloured tights. I can still wear summer dresses, and if the opaques are coloured at least I'm not in 'winter tights' yet!
