Hi everyone! Picking my magazines this month, I had to go for Company-not only was it a bargainous £1, but it is is also their Denim issue-with my current denim obsession I had to have it for some style and thrift inspiration!! I also have Vogue too, which pinpoints pale denim as a main trend this summer.
I've been after some key denim pieces for a while-namely a good fitting denim skirt, a pale denim jacket and a 'perfect' denim shirt. I've managed to find all these pieces this month all for under £20.
The denim skirt is a dark denim pencil style by Levis from the Sue Ryder charity shop for £3.95. It is a great piece which will go with a lot of items I already have in my wardrobe. I picked up this Ralph Lauren striped Breton tee at the Ralph Lauren outlet in Ashford for just £16.99, which will also be a main staple for this season.
I also managed to find a really good pale denim shirt in Primark on Sunday-I was in there shopping for pillowcase and glancing in the mens section was this fitted, pale, long sleeved soft denim shirt which is £10 and is a great fit and feel-it can be tucked in or worn out, layered up or worn by itself:
My eldest son found this pale denim Levis jacket last week in my local Sue Ryder charity shop for £9.95, more than I normally pay but its a perfect fit and I love the colour-plus I'm happy to pay that bit more to charity if I'm happy with an item!!
So my denim obsession is nicely fulfilled and now I just need to bring out the hats and scarves for the cold spell thats coming!!

Brilliant news! Those pieces are wonderful - especially love the Breton top and dark skirt!
I never had a denim jacket or shirt and will make do with 2 chambray shirts I got last Summer which are good alrenatives.
Wrap up well, it's barely above freezing where we are brrrrr! x
Gorgeous denim shirt!
skirt! :)
Great pieces - I finally have the denim shorts I was after, and have been debating denim/chambray shirts although not quite sure what I have I could wear it with.I'm still loving my coloured skinny jeans (now have yellow pair and red pair as well as teal) but not sure that would work. Jen little bird wears hers with a leather pencil skirt, what's your plan for yours?
I will wear my denim shirt with all my coloured jeans (cobalt blue, red and heritage green), plus my leather pencil skirt and the above denim skirt-its a really versatile piece! x
I lost my old denim jacket it seems -- I guess I'll have to break down and buy a new one though I keep hoping the old one will turn up!
Bargain buys! I do like denim so I am pleased to see this trend appearing.

Love your bits! As I said the RL outlet was rubbish the day we went and I felt so bad that a 11 yr old spent 40 quid on a polo top in there, so expensive, no bargains that day!
I am all about the denim shirt this season, I blogged about them last week and managed to find one at the very.co.uk outlet on ebay for 4.95! you will be proud! only problem is, it was over a week ago and it hasn't arrived yet! My youngest daughter bought company mag, I must get round to having a look!
I love that you are getting organised for the spring, I'm rubbish at the moment as I have loads of magazines piled up ready to read and my wardrobe needs a really good sort out. xx
really lovely finds as usual, denim is so timeless and you will own these pieces for ages!
I do love denim. I have far too many pairs of flared jeans though; I need to focus on a range of items!
What a great find the Levi's jacket is - well worth the money. I totally fancy bleached denim for this year, too. xoxo
love the denim! I am still on the lookout for the perfect jacket xx
That is super orfanised & great bargains - you'll look fab xx
I love your finds! I have a denim pencil skirt which I wear loads in the summer. I am still hunting for the perfect shirt though.
Love the Levis Jacket! Denim is my new obsession at the moment too, loving layering it up for winter xx
