Thrift Inspiration, Doing it KJL Style!!

So, following on from 'My Wardrobe' post, I'm still keen to look out for accessories, particularly necklaces. Sadly the QVC necklaces didn't 'do it' enough for me to keep either of them, so they were sent back.

Two Saturdays ago at the boot sale my one and only purchase was a wooden bead necklace for only 50p, which is shown in the 2nd picture.

The 1st picture shows a Kenneth Jay Lane rosewood bubble necklace, which is available at Bunnyhug.co.uk for £32.30

Kenneth Jay Lane, £32.30

Boot sale, natural wood bead necklace, 50p

D&G have a red, white and blue bead necklace which is really cute too-will you be in beads this summer?

Once again, the perfect find.

£32.30 that is well steep, rose wood or not!
It's nice but not £32.30 worth of nice, maybe I'm so conditioned to bagging a boot sale bargain now I'll never be able to return to paying full whack for anything?!
Anyway I much prefer your lighter coloured wooden beads anyway & at 50p, well I make that a saving of £31.80 to spend on many more boot sale treasures ;)

Such cool beads. I really like these. Thanks so much for the note. Looks like you made the most of that boot sale. Last think I expected you'd find there.

I need to read your blog right before I go out shopping- it's great inspiration to curb excessive spending! I loooove those beads- and will definitely try to rock some this summer.

hell yes, m'lady...wooden bead necklaces (whether au natural or painted in a myriad of colours) are a must-have regardless of season or year. I always keep an eye out for them in vintage stores or costume jewellery stores.

I adore the one you thrifted and I reckon it would look incredible with a few more slimmer chains stacked up.

My weeks going okay, cannot wait for Friday...work is draggging. What about you?

I adore beads like this! I have my favorite stone bead bracelet from Greece and a wood bead bracelet (which looks a lot like the KJL necklace) too ... if I could wear those all the time I would!

Hi Anusha-yes, I need to start wearing these and regularly too!
