I wanted to try the trend, but not in a totally full on way. I've worn my vintage Levi's shirt, layered over a black Gap sweater with denim leggings and OTK boots.
I think this trend can work if its not too matched up.
I have to admit I have always like the trend I used to wear it in the 1980's I think like "Flares" it got a lot of bad press but is so flattering, great post x
You look fab, great double denim ensemble. I did do double denim last summer but with shirt and shorts. I think you are right it does look too much from head to toe without being broken up.
I think am gonna pass on that trend. I like how you mixed two different denim dyes together, i might rock something like that but not the two sewed together.
I've already been wrecking my brain about double denim and think you're making a valid point: It mustn't be too matchy. Yes, I think I'll give it a go. Sabine x
Oh, yes! I'll definitely try! I have a LOT of denim. I went crazy buying denim jackets last year. I want to find some good-fitting jeans & will have to see a few more examples before I start trying the pieces out together!
Hi darling! I love how you are embracing the trend:) Although I can appreciate it on other people, I personally wouldn't do denim on denim. It's just not my thing:)

You look great, I admire your courage, I love the look but am not brave enough to try it myself.
I have a feeling I used to do this look all the time! I have a vague memory...

I wouldn't mind a denim shirt like the one you have on, but not sure I would do double denim, although it looks great on you!
Love Ur look, Sharon! Simple cozy and really stylish!

Denim looks way better on you than on that runway model. What she is wearing looks homemade, and not in a good way.
I was always told never to wear double denim, but clearly never say never! Like your look. Ciao. A.

Hi ladies-thanks for your lovely comments, much appreciated!!
Great look, Sharon! Love the denim trend, but I will stick to one or two pieces.
