Thrift Inspiration, Doing it Topshop Style!!

Bodycon skirts and dresses-particularly floral prints, are totally in trend this season. Topshop have a great range of different patterns, this one is available for £30:

The lighter colour one is £25:

I've wanted a bodycon floral print skirt for ages, so was pleased to find this one by Morgan at the Cancer Research charity shop last week for £3.95. I'm wearing it with my thrifted Next cardigan which was only £1, Primark belt and my new ankle peep toe boots from Matalan.

The skirt is a great fit, very snug and has a good amount of stretch to it too!!

What styles are you after for the new season?

Look at you!! You look as fabulous as ever. That outfit is really lovely - I love the floral print on the skirt. The colours really suit you.

The skirt is so pretty and you styled it so well with the pink cardigan. Love the look!

I'm leaning towards the military look this season. I'm not the girly kind of girl so florals do not work well for me.

Happy weekend!

I actually like your skirt the best. It looks fantastic with your belted Cardigan. Very 50's chic

More cool ankle boots - where do you get them from? I am thinking of rocking a bit of a military look too.

This is wonderful! (I think I got ride of a similar skirt a while ago. Now I'm sorry). What a great look.

You look absolutely lovely, perfect for the beautiful spring sunshine.
You know? I think I prefer your skirt to the TopShop ones, the lengths far more stylish.
Nice to see those cool ankle boots getting an outing!

I adore this outfit! I have a cardi like this one and I'm trying to get a floral print skirt, maybe shorter. Those from Topshop could be a good choice if we had that brand here :(
Instead of crying, I'm going to thrift one! :D

Adorable for spring and summer!
You've inspired me to pull out my flower print pencil skirt from 12 years ago that is hiding in the back of my closet!

S, I like how you coordinate your outfit. I have quite a few floral dresses. I guess I should wear them more often this spring/summer.

Hi Sharon,

U are already for the spring. :-) The floral clothes are perfect as always. :-)

Fabulous styles! Thanks for sharing. For the summer, I am looking at breezy florals in cotton based fabrics. The summer designs are out in the stores, and some of them are breathtaking.

Your thrift finds are always amazing (and somehow cheaper than mine, I don't know how you do it). The floral skirt looks lovely on you and the cardigan fits perfectly with it. What I'm after this season? Better don't get me started...

Hi everyone-thanks so much for all your kind and lovely comments, much appreciated!!

Great looking floral skirts. I went into my closet looking for the two I have and found them. Unfortunately, one now seems to be too short. I'm so upset I loved that skirt! The other is a long one that still looks good. They both have a black background with a bright floral pattern.

Did you watch the Oscars last night? It was actually kind of fun to watch this year.

Have a great week!

Hi ladies-thanks for your lovely words!!

Gorgeous outfit - love your skirt! I actually like it much better than the Topshop variants... they strike me as being too floral wallpaper-esque. I think in the new season I'll try to wear more nude colors, but I don't know if I'll manage to keep it up (I still love blacks and grays too much...).
