Over at Browns Fashion they are celebrating their 40th Birthday by bringing out a 'Future Collectables' Range, which is a collection where designers from Balenciaga to Burberry have produced limited edition pieces based on one of their iconic designs.
I have always liked designer clothes but unfortunately, unless they are vintage from charity shops or boot sales, they are well out of my price range.
So when I want modern pieces my compromise is Designer Collaborations and when iconic pieces are produced, I try to collect them as my 'Future Collectables'
Here is a selection of what I've picked up so far:

Those Browns future collectables are desirable, but your clever collection of Designer Collaborations is very nice too. My OH caught me looking atr the Browns page and remarked, "You've got a dress!" LOL - as if I could afford more than the bus fare to the shop.
And sorry to hear you're taking a break as I've only recently found your blog which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. BTW - before you go take a look at my Giveaway - you may like to enter! For now, best wishes and hope to see you back on your blog again before too long.

Hi everyone-thanks for all your kind words and concerns-suffice to say I most probably won't be posting my self much for a while, but I'll try to check in with you all when I can-both boys have exams this month, so things are quite hectic!
If I had to buy something as future collectables that would be definitely bags or pieces of costume jewelry. During the years I often lost or gained weight ending up being unable to wear some expensive (for me) clothes I bought. Bags and costume jewelry are always wereable, no matter which size I am :-)
