For some reason, I'm having an 80s phase for fashion and style, so any quality pieces I see on my travels, I'll be snapping up.
Sundays visit to the boot sale was very successful, with finds ranging from bags to winter knits, to leather to faux fur and to lace-a lot of these were inspired by looks from Vogue UK Novembers issue, so I'll be sharing these in future posts.
My 80s nostalgia fix was cured with this leather and suede jewelled bag by Stuart Weitzman-I love to look at an item and know exactly what era its from. I remember this bejewelled look everywhere, on dresses, corset tops, earrings and bags, with the stones even bigger than what's on this bag below!!
So for £2.50 I had to get it-very retro, but I just couldn't resist!!
What trends are you following this season?

Hi Sharon,
Hmmmm... I guess I was really born in the 60's and frozen for 20 years! My favourite periods; what I always follow; definitely 60's and 70's.
♥
Hehe, very Salt n Peppa! All you need is a matching jacket ;)
You couldn't possibly knock a bargain like that back ...love Jan xx
very cute - this post arrives just minutes after I find that A MOST BEAUTIFUL PURSE which I had seen on an Etsy Treasury and which I had just decided to buy, was suddenly sold. I could have cried! It was beaded, made in Paris, handmade, probably 1950s. :(
I adore that retro bag, so fun!
That looks remarkably similar to a 1980's velvet bustier I sold on ebay a while ago. You are a true 1980's girl. xxx
So pretty!
It's such a special piece, and yes, as you say very 80s. Great buy - can't wait to see with what you'll pair it!
I've tried not to go overboard buying lots of new stuff for Autumn/Winter but I've bought a couple of woven skinny belts, a lace dress and some khaki utility pants to be on trend.
I'm following the hospital visiting every night trend LOL - no seriously, I honestly don't know, I haven't bought anything new, haven't had a minute to live, trying hard to catch up with you all tonight xx
I don't follow any trend this season! I haven't even checked trends, I'm so behind!!! Lovely purse, by the way
Dear Sharon, it's really pretty and an unusual shape. What a great price! I could never pay full price for a designer bag so I love it when you get one for £2.50! Hope you're having a good week xx
That purse would go well with a jeweled YSL jacket that I recently had on my blog.
You ARE having an 80's phase!!!Why the hell not!
Pretty purse doll,great score!
xxxxx

such a treat. I doubt I'm following any trends..just what I can find, that I already have.
Stuart Weitzman! Lucky you! I'm not sure if I'm even aware what trends there are this season, just going with what I like to see.
How lovely! I have a *very* '80s looking bag like this too and I love it. You might be surprised how many outfits this can complement. :o)
