Hi everyone! I was very excited to read that Celia Birtwell, a long admired designer of mine and of course the ex wife of Ossie Clark has just released details of her forthcoming collaboration with Uniqlo which will be launched on 21 March.
Celia's iconic prints and designs have been reworked and rescaled to produce an exclusive new range which will include, tees, tunic tops, shirts, jeggings, tote bags and culottes.
Here is a sneak peek of what we can expect:
I really love the outfit to the right, the prints of the blouse and jeggings really work well together
These culottes look amazing too, the shape and cut look so modern
In preparation for this collection, Celia flew to Japan and selected several prints including ones from her Home collection and she is hoping this collaboration will have similar success to the one she had with Topshop.
I will definitely be purchasing an item when the collection comes out this Spring-my favourite brand with a much admired designer-what's not to love??
Wishing you all a very relaxing and great weekend!

I didn't know about this, I love her prints, so thanks for the heads up. Have a good weekend. Kat x
I interviewed Celia yesterday - got quite excited about that! She is absolutely lovely, charming and talented. And the collection is fab.
Culottes? Now there's a blast from the past. As lovely as it all looks, it's no good to me as we don't have a Uniqlo in Dublin (small sob!) Of course, it does present a lovely excuse for a little trip to London :)
Wow, those are some nice pieces! They look similar to the Duro Olowu for JCPenney. I will definitely have to tap both those collections!
What fab pieces, not that I expected anything less, Celia's a genius! x
Some gorgeous pieces here, I love the culottes xx
I adore the red trousers! Uniqlo have some fab collaborations xx
Um wow, already so drawn to her prints - will have to keep an eye out for this collection!
Quite excited about this one. My niece actually forwarded me the Telegraph post for this the other morning and she liked the outfit that you liked and I liked the other one. I'd treated her to one of the Celia Birtwell scarves when she designed a collection for Topshop in 2006 and she has kept it and remembered her dear Auntie Sue.
Wonderful pieces. I do love her work so much and she is a fab lady...I heard her on Desert Island Discs which made me love her even more!
xx
Hi everyone-so kind of you all to leave such lovely comments, thanks so much! xx
