DVF Twisted Wilma dress at Browns, £188
I decided to shop my own wardrobe for this trend and have got 2 in 1, which is very similar to the DVF one above!!
A perfect LBD and Asymmetric dress, this is by United Colors of Benetton and from the Sense charity shop last year, for £3.99. I can dress it down as shown here for a daytime look or glam it up without a top underneath and accessories for evening wear:

Hi! How's the Queen of Thrifting?
Wow, I love that dress you're wearing. It looks as expensive as the dress from net-a-porter.
3.99! You're amazing. Now that's one trend I wouldn't expect you to already have in your closet, but there you go!
You know where to find them. I never find anything that great. Usually, I have to remake it somehow. I'm very impressed. I am hoping to the get the "wonder yard" a diy project book from the lib. soon. Really, a nifty book to make everything from dresses to curtains. I'm still on my hat making binge.
Ha! Sharon you do it every time! Great dress xx
Nice dress & I like the way you've styled it. Where are the boots from?
Yours is definately the best of the bunch! How stylish and elegant. I love the pointy boots and skinny top you've teamed it up with. What a splendid find.

S, I love this style and you look absolutely gorgeous!!!
Love the dress... so fun to shop at your own closet. It makes us creative.
Happy weekend! xoxo
Actually, I have a similar dress hanging in my shower! I keep hoping the steam from morning showers will take the wrinkles out of it. It looks like I may have to break down and purchase a steamer (I prefer NOT to use the steam iron on it....) I THINK I can wear it much as you demonstrate and describe here!
Thanks for the tip!
Apparently no dresses for me unless they are the ones in my wardrobe currently! I am on a shopping ban til' April so I cannot buy a thing! I guess the phrase 'work with what you've got' really comes into play here, then...

I love your dress.
You look great in that dress!! I also like the one you picked out too, the angles are very inviting to the eyes. Definitely need something like this in my wardrobe.

Thanks so much for the note. I know I'm writing about a tricky subject..maybe one ..no one likes to talk about, but I thought it might be a good idea. & yes, sometimes, there is no romance in what I write about.
