Issey Miyake-No accessories required

Finally, after having this amazing suit in my wardrobe for nearly 3 years unworn now, I decided that it should be worn and certainly shown, as it really is a favourite of mine.

I found this Issey Miyake 2 piece suit at the boot sale and tried to get it for £25, but the lady wanted £30-she won, I couldn't lose it over a £5!!

Its pure wool and I think its lately nineties. Very timeless and now maxi skirts are back in trend after a long absence, I thought I would shop my own wardrobe for this style and start wearing it.

The detailing and cut is typical Issey and I could also wear these pieces as separates. I also thought minimal accessories would suit the total outfit too.

What trend can you shop your wardrobe for this summer?

I totally love this outfit (not because it's black)... I love that it is a classic. I'm also shopping my closet for a maxi skirt. I finished shopping my closet for the khaki military pants and I found a lot.

Have a great day! xoxo

What a great outfit. Even at £30 it was a bargain and you were right not to lose it over a fiver as it would probably have fetched much more on ebay.

Very classic! And it looks great on you.

Thanks for the note. Aw, thats sweet about the boys..yeah, my brother and I did that to my Dad, too.

I have found a black skirt full of ruffles. Just not sure what sort of top to wear with it. & on the look out for a summer scarf.

Add me to the list of fans of this suit! I think you're right - you COULD wear it as separates! The skirt REALLY intrigues me! Those "puckers"! Wow! You KNOW I like the length, too. Glad it's back in style. I'll just keep on wearing them.

No, you certainly shouldn't have lost this gorgeous piece for a fiver! It looks great worn like this, but you can also wear it seperately. I think I can re-wear everything in my wardrobe this summer - flimsy dresses, denim shorts and dr.scholl shoes... Now all I need is some warmth!

You look so glamorous in this ensemble, my love - I adore the classic sophistication of the color and the cut. The trend I love this summer is rompers - they're just so comfortable and adorable!! :)

Gorgeous outfit, I love the knot detail. I need to sort my wardrobe out pretty soon but I've got plenty of khaki so it'll probably be the military/utility trend.

A very monochromatic look indeed. If the skirt was at knee length, it would look better.
