Thrift Inspiration, Paul & Joe Sister Style

Fair Isle knits are very much in style this winter and over at Net-A-Porter they have a fabulous selection in knitwear. This waistcoat by Paul & Joe Sister will keep you snug and looking great this winter:

Paul & Joe Sister waistcoat, £170

So to sport the trend, I was pleased to pick up this vintage St Michael lambswool fair isle waistcoat at the boot sale a few weeks ago

I'm also wearing my other bargain of the week (well last week) my F&F shearling clogs, reduced from £28 to £7.50 which I picked up when doing my food shopping.

Will you be wearing any fair isle knits this winter?

The Paul & Joe Sister is lovely but again, I think your 50p bargain is even better. The colours are so rich and warm for a chilly autumn day and those clogs are wonderful.
Have a wonderful weekend! xxx

I actually prefer your one, the colours are much nicer, and the clogs were a bargain!

I really like BOTH of your recent "finds". Especially I like clogs for ease of stepping in and out - well, somehow it seems easier...

The chill in the air here tell me it IS time to bring out the wool!

Dear Sharon, I love your 50p knit! I'm painfully short of knitwear. I have seen a big Starsky cardigan I rather like. Have a lovely weekend xx

50p! that is a fab bargain. I'd dug out a couple of knits from last year but wish my mum still did knitting I had some great cardies in the seventies!

I love fair isle knits, but I haven't had any luck at my thrift stores and most of the fair isle items in stores are so expensive.

Love the clogs!

Nice take on the inspiration piece from Paul & Joe. I'm not really into knitted top but it look fab on you. I think sometimes you have to have some height to pull off some printed knits and unfortunately, I'm lacking in that department.

Oh my gosh, I've just found your blog and it is BRILLIANT. I try my best to get my inspiration from the catwalk and then thrift it, diy it, recycle it and you are such a good inspiration for this! I'm addicted x
