The lovely Mrs Fab over at Trying to Look Fab in your Forties did a post last week on The Essential Boutique at Net A Porter, which features their Perfect 10 items for any womans wardrobe.
Well I was inspired by the minimalistic style of the knits, my favourites are shown here which are currently available at Net-A-Porter:

So suitably inspired by these, I was pleased to pick up this Per Una sweater by Marks and Spencer late last week in the Salvation Army charity shop for only £1.99.
It is a sage green colour, ideal for Spring and Summer as a casual chic look.

That jumper is spot on against the knits that have inspired you and at a bargain price too! I think some of my local charity shops are pricing their products a lot higher than those you find your bargains in.
Dear Sharon, I must have been shopping on Ebay for too long! I'm astounded that a jumper costs three or four hundred pounds! Another great bargain. I don't own much knitwear - all of it is cheap cashmere from Ebay. Have a lovely week xx

I finally bought a swaeter :)
This is the perfect colour for Spring!
What a bargain. That's actually a great idea, using Net-a-porter as inspiration for thrift shopping. I must go check it out, then I know exactly what I'm looking for instead of just using my usual haphazard purchasing techniques.
