Hi everyone!! Taking stock of my winter accessories this last two weeks, I noticed I only have one pair of winter gloves which are grey woollen ones, so I felt justified to have a look and purchase a nice statement pair.
Looking at Net-A-Porters offerings for inspiration, their red leather gloves come in different styles and lengths-these were my favourites of what they have to currently offer:
Red leather gloves I feel are a real statement for winter-they add a great pop of colour to a black or navy coat or jacket and can be worn virtually daily for warmth and style, so certainly a good investment for the coming season. That said, when I saw these at Marks and Spencer I knew they were too good to miss and was very pleased that DH was feeling generous yet again and treated me to them:
With the leopardprint insert, they really are a cute pair of statement gloves and will certainly last for a good few winter seasons to come.
I now just need a black pair of gloves before winter really sets in, but I think I will get woollen ones.

They are lovely! I'd like to see you style them up- love seeing your outfits! I've never had leather gloves- my favourite and ultimate ones are Sheepskin with a thick lining- my first pair were from a charity shop and they were WONDERUL! I then lost them. Pair number two were bought when freezing in Snowdonia- got a bit manky. Pair number three purchased in Northumberland when I broke my wrist! I adore them!
The accessory I bought this year was sheepskin earmuffs from Emu- and I am looking forward to wearing them! If I could have anything, I'd adore a toscana sheepkin cape! (can you guess I adore sheepskin?!!?!)

I'm after some leather gloves too... thinking TK Maxx, sometimes you can snag Net A Porter labels at high street prices!
I would be a happy bunny if I could afford the rockstud but love the M&S pair too!

You'll never lose those bright red gloves - lovely picks I really want the studded ones. Maybe I can create my own diy version if I ever had time
Ooh those are nice. I had a beautiful red pair from Venice but sadly lost them, they were really reasonable too and super soft. I'm holding out for another trip to Italy!
Oooh, I do like a nice pair of leather gloves. Those Lanvin ones are right up my street ... but I don't think I'll be buying them any time soon!!
I've always found M&S gloves to be really good, fit my small hands well and the leather lasts too.
You can't go wrong with red. Love the leopard lining.
Oh, I love gloves too. But I'm in need of hats for this winter. Will have to get the needles out :)
