Ladies in Denim

I love denim and it was great to see Roisin Murphy and Chloe Sevigny in their Wrangler jeans and jacket.

I love Chloes jacket, its a great cut and fit and this style goes with anything.

Will you be in denim this summer-if so, jeans, a jacket or skirt and what wash will you go for? I'm into a faded look this summer and already have a jacket from last year and at least 3 pairs of jeans, its just a skirt that I'm after now.

OMG! Do you know where Chloe's hat is from, by any chance? I love it!

The denim jacket never goes out of style.

I definitely think the denim jacket is a classic, though I've mostly worn mine to the gym for the past few years!

Hey darling!
I don't think I could live without denim, especially dark wash denim :)
You look lovely in your picture:)

Denim jackets are a classic, but even the little tight ones look wretched on me. You, on the other hand, look fabulous.

I'm not sure about the "double denim" old Roisin's got going on there though.

Oh yes I'll be wearing my denim jacket but I don't wear it with denim jeans!
And I have my trusty denim skirt if my legs hold up!

Hi ladies-thanks for your lovely comments, I agree too about the double denim look, I personally wouldn't do jeans and denim jacket together.

Yes and yes. I adore all of denim pieces. Jacket, pants (jeans), skirt... washing and indigo equally. Stylish pieced and I mixed it classic clothes... For example: white shirt, tweed pieces and knitted dress...

Endless many combo! haha!

Wow, I love everything about Chloe's look ... and I'm usually not a fan.

Although I don't wear jeans all that often, I love my denim skirts and jacket with a passion!

Cool jacket. I had one of those jackets in the 80s, except mine had all kind of military metallions on them. Should have held on to it, it would have been a great vintage pieces.

I'm a total denim fanatic, so I wear it all the time! I like all washes, from dark to light. I'm not a big fan of black denim, though.

I like jeans, of course (who doesn't?), but prefer my denim skirts. I have a small collection of knee-length ones, mainly by 7 For All Mankind. You can find them on eBay. They're the best! A bit more ladylike than jeans but often more comfortable.

Hi budget chic-thanks my dear, I wish I'd hung on to more of my stuff from the 80s too!

Hi anchibride-I'm getting into denim skirts too! Just purchased 2 in 2 days, haha-thrifted of course!

Hi Sharon, you look so comfortable yet pulled together in this outfit. I love it. I have one in a darker wash, but it has these cool copper buttons that are like jewelry on my jacket.

I might have to get a light one like yours too...

Hi karen-thanks my dear, I'm so into lighter wash denim at the moment!
