Vintage blouse find!

I was really pleased to find this gorgeous vintage cream satin blouse at my local Sue Ryder charity shop a couple of weeks ago. It is unlabelled, but I love the cut and style, particularly the tulip embroidery on each shoulder and the little round buttons.

It looks like a 40s style, but I imagine it may well be from the 70s, I'll be wearing this a lot in Summer.
Next time I'll style it with something different, I was just eager to take a photo of it, LOL!!

That is an adorable top. Is it cold in England? Because you look like summer in that photo. Maybe you are just wishing for warmer weather.

Great find. Perfect colour for S/S and a lovely design.

The sliky feeling is nice but I'd wear it with some earth toned colored pants that go up to the waist and a thin brown leather belt. That way, you maximize the use of that color of the vintage top.

Very sweet - almost looks like lingerie! Pity I can't see the detail on it. It'd look fab with one flouncy flowery skirt & high heels & your hair up & lovely 50s clip-on earrings....MMM!

Hello! I agree with Marian that I love the pairing of something silky and feminine with jeans. A little unexpected yet delightful. You look great.

Re your handbag post, I used to have a bag very similar to the last one, the Topshop. It was a hobo style bag with fringes but was black rather than tan. I loved it.

Cheers, Bonnie

Those covered buttons and the "loops" that hold them are VERY special. They remind me of the buttons on my wedding gown!
