Thrift Inspiration, Topshop Style

During my blog absence, I still having been picking up pieces for my wardrobe. As always, denim and particularly biker styles have been on my radar and this Topshop Biker Leather Jacket, new in for the coming season, is very inspirational for the current trend:
Leather Biker Jacket, £150

So, I was pleased to pick up this MOTO Topshop denim biker jacket last month for a bargainous £4.99 in my local Sue Ryder charity shop:

The back detail is quite unique and unusual and this will be a keeper in my wardrobe for a while to come. Denim and particularly Biker styles trends, look to continue into the next season.

What trends are on your radar for the upcoming season?

What a find. The Union Jack back makes it look like a quirky designer piece rather than a high street buy.
I'm very pleased to see capes making an appearance this autumn. I've got quite a few. xxx

Yay love that these posts are back. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for in the upcoming season. Probably some great winter boots and things I can layer up!

I'm with Vintage Vixen, I would luuurve a cape for the autumn. I don't tend to shop trends though, I'm much more of a magpie - just picking out glittery things that catch my eye at any time.

I'd love a dressy trench coat. & I've been looking for a paisley long sleeved shirt but settled for a stripped one instead. Its awful muggy and hot here. This kind of weather, believe me my bra has taken a holiday.

What a great find! Glad you haven't lost your mojo when it comes to sourcing great items for your wardrobe! There is one item I really want and if you see a post entitled "I am a Happy Bunny", you will know I have got it and all will be revealed! xx

Because of my obsessive nature I already have my two A/W staples a new pair of ankle boots and some pretty low heel courts. I might have to add a pair of the faux fur Chanel boots to that though if I can save up LOL!

I love your find! The Union Jack detail is SO cool! Great find. :o)

For the upcoming season I want to find a dress with a full-ish, knee-length skirt (or just a skirt like that) in a color suitable for colder weather. I want to pair it with my fitted jackets.
