Colour is a must for summer shoes and I'm loving prints and patterns on fabric shoes, whether they are flats or have heels.
The beauty of choosing styles like these is that you can keep outfits quite plain and simple while the shoes do the talking. Espadrilles are a forever stylish choice, whether you choose plain or patterned ones and a perfect choice for casual wear at the beach or in town.

They have an espadrille feel, but my summer shoe of choice are Toms this year. I currently have a plain brown pair, but I am tempted to get a tweed style fabric pair as well

Zandra Rhodes it is for me.
I love them all but I think I will keep on wearing my simple leather and suede sandals and flats this summer :)

Those Sandra Rhodes are so vibrant and colorful; I see myself wearing all of them!
I love them- in terms of pattern, I'll go with red/blue, but never too varied with colour.
Thank you for these lovely pictures of summer holiday shoes. My favourites are the Zandra Rhodes but they wld kill me to wear. The French Soules are delicious but I'm used to buying espadrilles in French supermarkets for a lot less. Cx

The ones by Zandra Rhodes are lovely and would look perfect with a flowy skirt and strappy top.
Whilst I used to wear espadrilles all day, these days they give me backache, soooooo I found espadrille wedges are just the perfect replacement. Love those Zandra shoes.....mmmm!

Loving the wedges but not entirely sure I'd be any good at walking in them. Still not won over by the Espadrilles action for myself I've definitely seen them look good on other people!
