I found one, I found one-haha!! You all know I wasn't over impressed with the last black leather jacket I bought-it was only £3, but I still wasn't overkeen. Anyway, that jacket, 2 other jackets and a blouse and skirt were passed to my sister in law who has daughters so I don't know who ended up with what!! Last week, I tracked down the jacket of my dreams-it has chunky zipper pockets and studs on the collar, cuffs and waistband, plus it is a really fitted style and the softest leather too!!

Leopardprint Love and Stud overload!
Well, this was my outfit for boot sale Sunday-it was freezing and foggy early morning, so I wrapped up accordingly and this is my vintage faux fur leopard print coat that I said I would show you all!! Its quite showy, so I like to wear all black (or jeans) to dress it down!
I did really well again today-I scored 2 stud belts-the skinny one was 50p and the wider was was £1 and they are both leather too!! My best bargain has to be these black leather and suede studded cowboys boots for-50p!!! I got to the mans stall and I only had 50p and a £50 note in my purse (for food shopping later!). He saw me trying on the boots and said I could have them for a £1, so I told him what I had left was 50p, so he said I could have them!! So, quite a productive weekend for the boot sales-thats all for now folks!!

Boot Sale Saturday!!!
For a change, the weather was gorgeous when we got up Saturday morning. So hubby and I set off for the boot sale in Chigwell Essex for a stroll and some much anticiapted bargains. I thought to take a few pictures to show you what the boot sales are like-here I am, enjoying an early morning tea and burger!!!
I'm wearing a purchase made mid week-my 'perfect' black leather jacket, that I found in Sue Ryder Charity shop for £10! I 'm so pleased with it, I will show better pictures of it later in the week!!! Anyhow, the boot sale for me was really good, I managed to get a black padded parka for winter for £5, a black boyfriend style merino wool cardigan for £3, 2 grey tops for £1 and some gorgeous biker ankle boots for £1-I'll show these later in the week too!! So, this week I've spent £20, but quite a haul of needed goodies!!
The rest of Saturday was spent relaxing and visiting my mum in hospital-she broke her ankle last week, poor thing, so I've been on hospital duty all this week. Hopefully, she can come home midweek. Its no fun for her being bedbound, but she's bearing up brilliantly. She had to have an op to put things right, so lots of rest, recuperation and patience needed!! 10.10.08
Thrift Inspiration, doing it the Wang way!!
Sequins are so on trend for this season, evident in Alexander Wangs collection for A/W 08
I was lucky to bag this vintage sequin waistcoat/vest at the boot sale a few months back for £1!! The same lady also sold me some lovely satin skinny DKNY trousers for a £1 too! Anyway, this is my take on the Wang look-this piece is so versatile, I can wear it with a jumper dress, skinny polo neck and long length jeans, a floaty blouse.8.10.08
Thrift Inspiration, doing it the Sonia way!
Sonia Rykiels A/W 08 collection has a great injection of colours, especially the knitwear. This time of year is when we will be digging out our jumpers and cardigans from previous winters, or doing a wishlist to stock up on some new ones-pictures from Style.com

Last winter, I was lucky to find this Sonia Rykiel jumper for a bargain £2.49 at Help The Aged charity shop-sadly it closed in August, it was a favourite of mine, where I found some other great bargains too. Anyway, its rocking the stripey, coloured trend for winter and I will be sure to wear this favourite piece to keep me cosy in the next few month!!
