Sunday Lunch in London

At the weekend, hubby and I took ourselves to London, where we had lunch, a lovely stroll along the South Bank and Embankment and bumped into some celebs who were doing their bit for Sports Relief.

Weatherwise, it was a gorgeous, sunny day so I wore my Mexx khaki jacket, thrifted from the PDSA charity shop in Autumn for £3.99, my thrifted George Rech Breton jumper, my new denim Chanel style across the body bag by Marks & Spencer and my new grey jeggings from Marks & Spencer:

We had a lovely day, people watching and enjoying the sunshine, London is such a fabulous place to visit

Are you ready for Spring with your outfits yet?

Love the striped top and the Chanel-inspired bag. What a fun color.

Spring? I'm slowly changing my wardrobe to make it more suitable for the weather. xoxo

Yes loving your stripes I am a huge lover of the Breton stripe as you may know. I love your little bag and the colour is a wonderful addition to your outfit xx

What a fantastic outfit, chic and relaxed. Perfect for a stroll in the spring sunshine. Love the Globe Theatre backdrop.
Hopefully when I get back from India at the end of April I'll be able to go coat and tights-free!

No I'm not ready - I must get everything out of the bags and sort it all out!
Great outfit and cute colour bag x

The turquoise bag whispers spring, the stripes point to summer and the jacket is great. Wish I could wear those stretchy leggings and look as lovely as you!

While I look forward to being done with winter and thoroughly embracing spring, the transition is always a pain for me. I've grown comfortable with my winters and I'm procrastinating putting them away.

Your question nudges me into action (after taxes and cleaning off the sunporch).

How adorable. It goes so well together and looks like you are ready to take on the town.

I am not sure I'm ready for spring...well, I'm ready for some nice walks..of course.

Love the shades of grey. Elegant and oh so Parisian, young lady. You look fab!

And we are not even going to mention your thrifting skills yet again ;)

p.s. London was fab (for the two and a bit days we were there), but too chaotic for my liking. Eeep.

How lovely to spend a day with your husband!
Yes, I'm so ready for spring. We get teased with two or three warm sunny days and then the weather gets cold again.

Perfect London outfit - sleek and comfortable (shoes!). I think I need to insert a bit of light in my wardrobe to be ready for spring. It's all still very black in there.

I'm starting to wear a bit more pastels with my black and navy pieces but I had to put back on the opaque tights the other day as it was too nippy out!

Fashion aside, my husband, sister and I went to London for the first time in January (crazy because it is so close really:) and LOVED it...what a city! I am looking forward to going back and when I do maybe I can ask you to advise me on where to find some wonderful thrift shops...
Hope you have a lovely day!

Your bag! I need one of those. I pretty much only wear cross body bags like that. I would love a Chanel one. Very cute!
