Like Leopardprint, Lace is another trend that is forever in favour and is back in trend for next season, as showcased in Septembers UK Elle:
Sorry for the crap picture, but I had to show you this find from last month-a strappy lace shift vintage dress-maybe from the 80s, possibly 90s. It was only £2.95 from my local Cancer Research charity shop and I can wear it with a black cardi or black leather biker jacket.

I'm going to get out my lace booties from a couple of seasons ago.
Being a bit of a rock chick I like a bit of black lace in my wardrobe. I have a Monsoon Fusion mini dress I bought in their sale for £9 3 years ago which I love.
Lace definately needs toughening up with black leather, chunky knits and ankle boots as it can look Mafia widow very easily.

No need to invest I have a stash of gothic lace in my closet! Including the most ridiculous frilly blouse I picked up on ebay for £2.50 that I cant wait to get out, I am such a goth at heart!

I'm a little like Penny Dreadful...it never ends up looking right on me. I DO have one white "teddy" that (if I lost the 15 pounds I've gained) I wear under jackets--even with blue jeans & a black jacket.
