Thrift Inspiration, Net-A-Porter Style in Valentino Red

Hi everyone!! I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Easter and I hope everyone (especially so in the UK) is enjoying the glorious weather we are experiencing at the moment.

I want to apologise for not keeping up with you all as due to the school holidays and the wonderful weather we've been having I've not been on the laptop very much!! I will definitely do my best to catch up with you all as soon as I can and for those of you who are stopping by, thanks so much for your kind and lovely comments, they are always so much appreciated.

This post is a Pink one. Sugar pink is such a sweet and lovely shade of colour and especially for a Summer dress. Net-A-Porter have a gorgeous selection and my favourite picks are here below:

Christopher Kane Barbara pleated dress, £1620

Miu Miu, £470

The Row, Eastlyn £1470

Moschino Cheap and Chic, £785

One of my best thrift finds just lately is this vintage inspired sugar pink dress by Valentino RED. I thought it was vintage at first, but upon checking it is a newish dress.

I was amazed when I asked the price, the seller said 'Well it is designer, so I want £2' I was still looking at her rather amazed when I handed her a £2 coin, but she took it and smiled, so I did too and toddled off!!

The dress is lovely, I'm not a girly pink person, but for the money I'm sure it will get a few wears this summer!!

Will you be pretty in pink this Summer-is it a colour you like?

wow, an amazing find! I'm not a pinky girl, too, but I think with your beautiful skin tone it will look amazing. reminds me a lot of the dress Carrie wore in Sex and the City, last season (the one she getrs from her Russian boyfriend, I think it was Vera Wang and she wore it with a black skinny leather belt). have a nice easter weekend :)

I am so glad that you are having a good weather. It is raining in the South of Spain, but I am glad because there will be plenty of heat later on.
Enjoy !!!!

£2? Oh my word, what a bargain! Pink is a colour I tend to buy by accident. I neither like nor dislike it but every now and again I'll find something pink and fall in love, but I do like your frock. Have a wonderful Easter! x

What a bargain! That's amazing! Pink looks crap on me (except when it come to lippie!) but I'm always happy to admire it on other people.

I'm glad that you are having great weather and that you were enjoying your kids time off from school.
I love pink I wore a summery pink shirt (thrifted of course) this past Sunday. I like to wear pink with brown or with other similar shades colors.
Have a lovely and sweet Easter weekend,

What a fabulous find! That dress looks like it was just made for you! And pink is always so flattering. It was the predominant color in our wedding, though not in an o.t.t. way. I think it's one of those shades that brings out the best in the complexions of so many different women.
