For those of you uneducated in my County of Essex language-Reem is another word for nice or a complimentary adjective, according to one of the stars of the BAFTA award winning show, The Only Way is Essex-check out Joeys explanation here.
Anyhow back to style matters-I have hankered after a very nice pair of red shoes for a long time now as I did have a pair of red canvas wedge espadrilles a few years ago, but had to get rid of them as they made my feet quite sore.
So I've been looking for some inspiration for red on my feet and having a browse round, the choice may be harder, as not only are there some great sandals and shoes about, there are some lovely boots too!!
Here are my favourite picks of red footwear-I so love the red ballet shoes, but the boots are pretty fabulous too:

Dear Sharon, you know I am addicted to TOWIE. I couldn't believe it won a BAFTA! Imagine what the party was like! They'll be celebrating in Sugar Hut for weeks!

Great collection of red shoes. The cubanas are my favorite because they offer a lot of support to the entire foot.
I've got some red suede boots that I just love. There's something about red and suede that's delicious!
I do own a pair of red vintage pumps and had a pair of red suede french soles that I sold (unfortunately!).
I love red, but I am searching for blue this summer. Don´t ask me why???

Love all of these - haven't had a red pair for ages - it is a very versatile colour actually and mixes well with most colours. PRobably the only colour it could possibly clash with is another shade of red.... what do you think?

They are lovely! I love red shoes too! Right from a young age where I demanded a red pair of jelly shoes aged 4! The years have gone on, I owned red boots with white sheepskin inards, red sling-backs and red ballet pumps too! Love them!!! Still longing for red clarks original desert boots though!
Fab red footwear! Not sure I'd invest in boots, but I do love the wedges and the ballerinas. I have a pair of bright red flats that get a lot of attention when I'm out!
You're right - red shoes are reem! I really badly want red shoes now for this summer. I have the white, the blue and the black. Even the coral (orange) and the nude. And some combinations of all of the above. But no red. Oh, except a blue wedge with a thin red/white blue strap - that I now I can't find!

I did get a pair of red ballet pumps from new look a few months back so am on the lookout to replace them with a designer pair at some point in the future. Red looks fab with jeans and breton tops, I also love it when worn with camel.
