With all the excitement of seeing gorgeous blogger friends Wendy Brandes and Times of Glory tomorrow, I've overlooked the other major happening for me this week-the purchase of my gorgeous vintage red Chanel bag!! I did have a scare as it should have arrived by next day delivery and it didn't!! I thought it had got lost-oh dear, I was having kittens, to say the least! Thankfully it arrived a day later and I'm soo pleased with it!!!
I previously had a Chanel bag, but I sold it about 3 years ago-it was too big really-this one is soo cute, it fits right under my arm!! When the weather is really nice, I will use it and show you it in action-I daren't get it out in the weather we are having-the rain will stain it terribly!!

I get what you mean about not bringing your bags out when it is raining! I hate my shoes being wet too! & that chanel bag is GORGEOUS! & it is in red! I am stil ldreaming of the day I can owe Chanel 2.55!!!!

its so beautiful. i guess thats why i don't really spend so much on a bag that I know i'll use everyday put my stuff in that later turns to crap. i'm very good at messing up a hand bag.

That bag is beyond gorgeous. I always say I wouldn't want to own clothes that I would just keep on a shelf, but I would definitely just keep a beauty like this in a box on a shelf and just bring it out to show people...haha!

Hi Silje-thanks so much! The bag was on ebay.co.uk through a company called alwaysauthentic-I won it on an auction basis!! I had seen it earlier in the day and then went back on ebay, bid and won-haha!!! Yes, this one is for keeps, its a lovely little size-I want to save for a black one now!!
