Leopardprint Love!!

A lot of lovely bloggers are commenting on leopard print. For me its a yay, as it is such a great trend that comes in and out of fashion and is always stylish.

This is an 80s/90s leopardprint fitted shirtdress that I found at the Salvation Army a few months back. I may well wear it in winter with black opaque tights, black scarf and black leather jacket to brighten up a miserable winters day!! I also have a faux fur vintage leopard print long jacket that I will wear when the weather gets really cold!!
Leopardprint is like marmite-you either love it or hate it. As you can see, I love it-yaay!

Leopard print suits you, and WendyB. Unfortunately it just makes me look like I'm wearing fancy dress! I wish I could wear something so funky and get away with it. What a great find, your thrifting skills are second to none!

Hi ladies who lunch-thanks for your lovely comment, its much appreciated. As I get older, I think I'm getting more adventurous in my choices, particularly different prints-I seem drawn to vibrant and different type prints!

I love leopard print, don't own much unfortunately but I particularly love the 80s vibe! Complete with tacky gold earrings...maybe minus the backcombed hair but you get the picture!

You know I'm loving it right there with you, gorgeous. I nearly picked up a faux fur leopard-print cocoon coat this weekend, but just couldn't. Not enough structure for my curvy bod.

So sorry to hear that you are also not feeling so very well. :( It must be going around. Take care of yourself. Tomato soup for lunch seemed to help me a bit.

It's a big YES to leopard from me, it's one of my all time favourites. I like the way the leopard here is making a very classic style dress much more interesting!

its funny how you got a post on leopard prints. I spent most of last night searching for the perfect leopard print top. I was inspired by kelly rowland's look. She had on a long sleep leopard top, skinny jeans and pink shoes. What a combination huh but you got to see this to appreciate it. Lovely post by the way

I'm not so much into the cut of the dress but the print is awesome.

Cate said...

Oooh I like that style of the dress! Cool, a fake fur leopard print long jacket... How long is it exactly?
I don't know, leopard print can look cheap, and it certainly doesn't look cheap on you or for example Kate Moss! It's just a matter of how you wear it. I see you still have nice weather over there.
