Today

Today, despite our eccentric British weather of intermittent rain, sun and gusty winds, I managed to get to the boot sale and bag a couple of bargains before a torrential downpour sent me running for the car!! I got a lovely gold vintage Italian chain belt for £3 and a vintage cotton skirt suit by Janice Wainwright for £1. The skirt suit isn't really me, but I may wear the top and skirt separately, or store it and sell it on Ebay at some point-I just can't leave vintage finds, whether they are really me or not!!

Roberto Cavalli top and 7 For All Mankind jeans

The summer fete was on and I got to see Robert and his pals doing their thing-very good indeed!! Later in the afternoon, I went shopping and got a pair of black shoes which I wanted for Autumn-I did want patent really, but they were in the sale, just what I wanted so another bargain bagged!! I will show you my belt and shoes in the week!!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!!

Sounds like you got some really nice bargains! I saw a Topshop denim jacket in a charity shop today for £4.20 and I walked away. I don't know how I did it...but I guess it's the prospect of going on holiday that made me resist buying it!

^ I'm not sure about harrods and harvey nichols, might be too flash for me but I will visit portobello, oxford and regent for sure!!

what's good for vintage?

Sharon S said...

Hi yiqin-thanks so much!!

Hi jen-its funny to think it would be too flash, but all sorts of people go to window shop and browse, its such an amazing experience-I would recommend it, especially the food halls. For vintage check out youlovefashion.com, they have a vintage section on all the vintage shops all around London-its a great checklist!!
