If I went upstairs and counted all my jeans (including cords), I reckon I must have around 15 pairs-gulp!! Well, I'm not getting rid of any of them, as I really love jeans in general.
I'm a fan of wide legged, flares, stretch, skinnies, straight, low rise, high waisted. Not overkeen on bootleg, but I'll never say never, of course. I also love white jeans, light wash, indigo, coloured and a just plain normal wash.
I've pairs by Levi's, Miss Sixty, 7 For All Mankind, See By Chloe, Ralph Lauren, Gap, Lee Cooper, Anglomania (Viv Westwood), Michiko Koschino (Japanese) and H&M.
So, why is it, that the cheapest pair I've bought-£1.30, from the charity shop, by a make I've never even heard of-Rebel (I think a high street chain make, maybe) are my current absolute faves?? I'm loving the length-I purposely like them above my ankle bone, as I can wear them with ankle boots and it shows the details of them. I also like how I can wear them rolled up. The colour for me is great-I know a light wash isn't in trend at the moment, but I'm just hooked on the colour. The best bit is the stretch and huggy-ness of them and that they are quite high waisted too-no bum cleavage, thankfully!!

Oh just personal favourites that I'll cry about if they fall apart, one from Lucky jeans and the other from aber crombie and fitch - both bought in NY.
My others are skinnies from Tophshop (on second pair) and wide leg flares from H&M, that is it!
During those years where we could ONLY find bootleg I had ONE pair of jeans because I hated that style on me so much. I tried tapering a pair to get a skinny-jean look but was still unhappy because of course everything was so low-rise then. Now I probably have 10 pairs of jeans. Of course, I wear them much more often anyway because I don't work in a stuffy office anymore. But still, I started accumulating them even before I left that job just because I was so happy there were new (skinny and straight-leg) styles.
Hi Kate-I think skinnies and widelegged are the most versatile styles at the moment, so great choices my dear!!
Hi Wendy-Yes, thankfully all styles seem to be available nowadays and are generally in trend-bootleg is a style I had to wear years ago and just not really overkeen on now. I also like straight and skinnies the best.
I have too many pairs of jeans also but now that summer's over its all I ever wear! Its rainy and slushy bordering on snow today so I'm especially grateful for my rubber rain boots! I loved them before the trend started and plan to wear them for the rest of my life - trends be damned!
I have a pair of jeans the same color as yours. My roomy calls them my "painting pants" but I don't pay attention to her. You need to mix up washes when wearing jeans daily ;)
Hi anny-yes, I adore jeans too and I agree, different washes are essential when you are a jeans addict!!
I keep hearing that skinny jeans are off trend, but it doesn't bother me because I can't imagine myself in any other style. I keep trying to find some wide leg but none of them seem to look right. Some day i'll have to move on from skinnies but I don't know what to. Jeans are a difficult thing i find!
Hi pamela-thats where thrifting comes in!! I source all my different styles from the charity shops, so then they don't end up being an expensive disaster. its a good way to tap into different styles too! I think all styles are 'in' for the moment, its great to work skinnies one day and widelegged the next!
My boot-cut Tristan Webbers! Found them on eBay, for next to nothing - yippee!
Hi miss thrifty-well done my dear, I love an ebay bargain too!!
i like your look in both short vest and jacket.
Hi savvy-always lovely, thanks!!
Jeans are a kind of necessary evil in my wardrobe, what I wear when it's cold and I have housework to do!
You look totally gorgeous in this pair!
I'm a fan of the trend jean depending...for example, I'm LOVING the return of high-waisted wide-legs right now :)
wow 15.. I don't even have ONE pair!! i had some 7 for all mankind jeans about 5 years ago...
I think black skinnies will always be my favourite type of jean - so easy to wear!
What an amazing find! Those jeans look fantastic on you. I love how you paired them with biker boots!
My favorite jeans are a pair that I bought at TopShop a few years ago when I was living in Scotland. I still wear them all the time because they're the most flattering cut.
My favorite jeans are a sentimental favorite. The're straigt leg, have random holes in the knee and paint splatters- none of which were there when
i bought htem. I'm not sure if they're "on trend" but I love them
Great jacket.
Hi Skye-I do think they are one of the most easiest things to put on and can be dressed up or down.
Hi S-yes, I agree, this is a fabulous style!!
Hi ladies who lunch-haha, I couldn't be without jeans-I rarely wear skirts or trousers, its jeans or dresses for me!
Hi nic-I love black skinnies, so smart and chic looking too!
Hi asian cajuns-thanks for your lovely comment. It's great when you get a pair that last for years and are still so loved!

Hi jules-thanks for stopping by, so nice of you!
I have a pair of Joe's Jeans dark skinnies that I bought in LA that I really like, although I'm not sure I have the right body for them--short and voluptous! :) I also have two pairs of Tommy Hilfiger jeans, with regular waists (hallelujah) and a fairly straight leg. I also love anything by the Jeanstar brand--so flattering!
Hi Bonnie-thanks for stopping by, sounds like you have a great collection!
